Frequently Asked Questions

What do I wear?

When it comes to laser tag, you may wear whatever you would like. However, it is preferred to dress for the occasion (athletic shoes and attire).

Can I play outdoors?

Yes, all of the available taggers are made for indoor and outdoor use.

Can I play in the rain?

The taggers may withstand a small amount of rain. The laptop, however must be covered at all times. You are the judge whether to use the equipment in the rain. Remember that you are responsible for any damage that may occur to the equipment within the time of the rental agreement.

How does shipping work?

You are guaranteed to receive the agreed upon equipment before the event or you will receive a refund and a free rental. Within the package will be a prepaid shipping label to return the equipment. Late returns will be subject to a fee found in the terms and conditions.

How many people can play?

Anywhere from 2 players to 120. The Phoenix LTX is also compatible with the iNerf Laser Tag Gun (we can mix and match your order for a larger event).

Do I need a vest?

The Phoenix LTX is a self contained unit with a 360 degree bit on the top, which registers a hit.

How durable are the taggers?

The Phoenix LTX guns are very durable. They have been rented out hundreds of times and have been returned with very little damage.

How many people can play?

Anywhere from 2 to 40 players in one match.  The iNerf Laser Tag Gun is also compatible with the Phoenix LTX (we can mix and match your order for a larger event).

Do I need a vest?

The iNerf Laser Tag Gun is a self contained unit with a 360 degree bit on the top, which registers each hit.

How durable are the taggers?

The iNerf Laser Tag Guns are very durable. Although these are new taggers, the iNerf portrays the same durability as the Phoenix LTX.

How many people can play?

The Ubisoft Battle Tag System offers unique game play for 8 to 16 players.

Why do I need a laptop?

The laptop runs the gaming software and acts as an electronic referee. It keeps scores and has available options for various laser tag games.

What are some programmable game-play setting and games?

The different games included in the Battle Tag software are:

How can we have 16 players when Ubisoft's website allows only 8?

We rewrite the software to allow up to 16 players instead of 8. This re-write is thoroughly tested by a team of testers in many various situations.

Does this system require vests?

No. These top-of-line laser guns have sensors on each gun, eliminating the need for vests and cords.

What age group are these guns best for?

The Tippmmann Barracuda is best for players of 16yrs or older. They're metal, a little heavy, and are serious fun.

How durable are the taggers?

The Tippmann guns are very durable. They have been rented out hundreds of times and have been returned with very little damage.

What is the difference between the Team Ops and Phoenix LTX?

The Team Ops, though it's priced similarly to the Pheonix LTX and iNerf, is a different animal all together. It offers detailed scoring to each player via a screen on each gun. The Team Ops is a little big less intuitive to set up, so it requires more getting used to as you prepare for your event.

What age group are these guns best for?

The Team Ops is best for players between 11 and 15. They are a little too complex for younger players, but the handles/grips are a little small for larger hands. The sweet spot for this equipment is definitely the middle school crowd.
